Hi -- I am "eclipsewebmaster" and I'd like to submit a patch for the MySQL slave, but it appears my account has been banned for some reason. Can someone check?

I've reviewed the MySQL master/slave code I contributed in 3.0.2 and at first glance it all looks good. I'll be upgrading our forum to 3.0.4 in a couple of months, so I'll re-check everything and contribute patches as needed.
Nice work!

Sorry about my delayed reply, but I was suggesting what settings moachist should configure. ^_^ I pulled that directly from the admin interface.

I like the idea of just editing the last post as a default, but with an option to give a poster editing rights over an OP (At the mods discretion) That way, posters can't fanny around with old posts but Users with a OP which require constant updating (eg, the DEV threads on XDA) can do so.

There is a new setting for this in the Global Setings Manager:
Allow editing after reply
If enabled, users will be able to edit their own posts, even after someone replied to it. Disable to prevent users from changing questions that are already answered.

Hi - Since upgrading, my users are reporting they cannot edit their own posts in forums if it isn't their latest post in the forum.
For example, many post some information in the first post of a thread. As the day goes on, they add additional posts, and at the same time edit the first post to include all details for that day in one post. If they try to edit a previous post, they are only allowed to edit the most recent post in the thread from them and not the first one.
This behavior started last week when I upgraded to 3.0.4. Any ideas?
Thank you.

First all of, thanks for the release!! Good Job to everyone involved.
Secondly, we just worked a lot to get a theme setup in the 3.0.3 version.
We are happy with the theme and the 3.0.3 version, however, considering that 3.0.4 will be the last in the "3" series, I was suggesting to the forum admin to upgrade to 3.0.4 series to be "4" ready for the future....when ever that time may come.....but before that can you please confirm the following:
We have edited the drawmsg, drawpmsg for our theme based on user_left.
We have also edited draw_forum_list.tmpl, thread.html from the default folder.
Can we simply take the files we have edited and simply replace the stock 3.0.4 files with our 3.0.3 template files that we have changed?
I do see that a new karma feature is available...aside from that will there be any issues?
Dennis
