I’m setting up a forum and I want to know if it is possible to:
1 put a limit on the length of a members message; & if so, can different boards/topics have different limits
2 customize the forum rules
3 have all messages moderated & approved before letting them be posted.

1. No, but would be easy to add. The best we have for now is "Message Threshold", "Maximum size of the message DISPLAYED without the reveal link (0 == unlimited)."

2. Yes, look for "forum_rules" in the "msg" file for your language.

3. Yes, per forum or per user. "Moderated Forum", "Messages must be approved before they will be visible on the forum."
